About the Role

RISE is hiring a Social Media Intern responsible for editing event footage and converting it into clean, high-quality reels. The intern will also contribute to ideation and deliver upload-ready content after every event.

You may use any editing tool of your choice, including simple workflow tools such as the Instagram Reels Editor. We value output and creativity over complex workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Full Content Cycle Ownership

  • Receive raw footage from RISE events
  • Organise, review, and shortlist the best clips
  • Structure edits into clear, engaging short-form content
  • Deliver reels in a posting-ready format

Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit clips using any preferred editing tool
  • Produce multiple variations per event (recaps, POVs, highlights)
  • Maintain fast turnaround after major events
  • Add clean text overlays and appropriate music

Ideation & Creative Input

  • Develop 3–5 reel concepts per event
  • Identify relevant trends suitable for RISE’s style
  • Maintain a consistent visual approach for the brand

Strong understanding of short-form editing
Ability to deliver edits quickly and consistently
Good organisational habits
Comfortable working independently with deadlines
Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Able to translate event energy into simple, clean edits

Compensation

Monthly Stipend

₹5,000 / month (fixed)

Sponsor-Based Perk

Every sponsor we work with allocates a portion of their goods for the internal RISE team.

Example:If Red Bull provides 150 cans at an event, a separate allocation is set aside and delivered to the team — including the intern.
